About Us
Griffino is developed by GriffinGuard as an open standard and local runtime project for user-side plugin ecosystems.
GriffinGuard
Griffin refers to the mythic griffin, a symbol of strength, courage, and guardianship. Griffino carries that image into the open protocol: powerful in capability, brave in innovation, and protective in security. GriffinGuard is the guard that stands with Griffino to make that vision real.

Community
GitHub is currently the most reliable community entry point. Other community channels will receive official links once opened.
Vision
Griffino aims to become a shared language for user-side plugin ecosystems: apps, plugins, automation workflows, and local services can discover each other by capability instead of being locked to one platform or fixed dependency.
- Local first: user workflows should run and remain understandable on the user's own machine whenever possible.
- Contract first: capabilities, events, configuration, and UI entry points should be described by clear schemas.
- Replaceable: plugins that provide the same capability should be swappable without rewriting consumers.
- Observable: scheduling, health, logs, metrics, and failure reasons should be visible to developers and users.
