Privacy
Privacy Policy
Griffino is a local-first open-source project. Griffino itself does not collect, upload, or sell user information; data required to run the project is stored by default on the user's own device or in a local environment configured by the user.
Scope
This policy applies to the Griffino project website (griffino.cc) and to the basic data-handling principles of the official Griffino open-source project. If a plugin, integration, deployment environment, or third-party service has its own privacy policy, that policy also applies to data handled by that service.
Information We Do Not Collect
Griffino itself does not provide an account system, require users to sign in, or actively collect names, email addresses, device contents, plugin data, workflow contents, keys, credentials, or other personally identifiable information.
Griffino runtime data, configuration, logs, plugin state, and workflow data are stored by default in an environment controlled by the user. Unless the user configures synchronization, remote services, third-party plugins, or external APIs, this information is not uploaded to the cloud by Griffino.
Local Storage and User Control
Griffino is designed to be local-first. Users may run Griffino on their own device, server, or container environment and manage files, databases, caches, logs, plugin configuration, and access permissions themselves.
Users should protect their local environment according to their deployment model, including system account permissions, network exposure, key management, backup strategy, and plugin source review.
Third-Party Plugins and External Services
Griffino can integrate with plugins, APIs, model services, messaging platforms, code hosting platforms, and other third-party services. When those plugins or services are used, relevant data may be sent to the corresponding third party depending on installed plugins, enabled capabilities, and actual configuration.
Before using third-party plugins or external services, please review their privacy policies, terms, data processing practices, and retention rules. Griffino cannot control how third-party services collect, use, store, or share data.
Project Website and External Links
griffino.cc is currently a static project website without login, form submission, or site account features. The site may link to third-party platforms such as GitHub; when users visit those platforms, the corresponding privacy policies and terms apply.
Policy Updates
If Griffino later adds accounts, hosted services, telemetry, error reporting, email subscriptions, a plugin marketplace, or other features involving data processing, we will update this policy and describe the data collected, purposes, retention period, and user controls.
